After twenty-four years trapped in a nightmare en-route to the planet Minea, Taiver wakes up from stasis to even worse terrors. Trapped in a malfunctioning pod, submerged in liquid, and unable to move, Taiver is told by the ship’s lone caretaker, Hannah, that the sedatives no longer work on him. Minea is still thirty years away; he can’t leave the stasis chamber, he can’t even go back to his nightmares, and Hannah, his only companion, may just be the one who caused them.
